Franko: The Crazy Revenge takes a plot straight out of an eighties martial arts movie and transplants it to early post-communist Poland. Two friends, Alex and Franko, live in the port city of Szczecin, practice martial arts, and take the law into their own hands to clean up the streets. One day, they run into a nasty gang of thugs who beat Franko half to death and kill Alex. Franko vows revenge.

I am the author of the code, written entirely from scratch in basicFusion. The graphics were created by Mirage. The graphics were ripped from the original game. The files are available online.

Controls

Controls are the same as in the original DOS version, except S (or alternatively Spacebar)

ATTACKS

• A – Liu Kang (Flying Kick)
• S – Punch / Arm attack
• Z – Double Punch (Both hands)
• X – Turbo Kick
• C – Kick
• Forward + S – Grab enemy
• Forward + Spacebar – Grab enemy

AFTER GRAB

• A / C – Throw / Flip over
• S – Knee strike
• Z – Groin strike (Nut cracker)
• X – Stomp / Beating

SYSTEM

• F1 – Help
